I felt the Kiddies Side of Disney coming in and converting it to Safe for Children feeling,..
I did not enjoy it like the first one. I barely liked it and had to keep remembering how great the first one was. But it very mellow'd out and weak,.. since it was being made simaltaniously as the third (my mom was friends with people while they were working on the 2nd and 3rd movies,.. so they would do something for the 3rd one and then walk over and do something for the second in the same day),... I fear the third is going to be weak as well. Usually though the first and third movies are the best of a series (or that use to hold true) so maybe it will redeem it's self and everyone was worn out makeing the second after doing shots for the third.

It was more Disney-fied than the original...or at least Michael Eisner Disney. Wasn't as in depth and didn't have the character development but that is common among the middle movies of trilogies but it was still fun to watch. The next is going to be great (unless they screw it up). Keith Richards is Johnny Depp's father. Johnny Depp based Captain Jack Sparrow off of half Keith Richards and half Pepe Le Pue.

I liked it but not nearly as much as the first one. It was a little all over the place. I was excited about it in the beginning, got a little less interested in the middle, then got excited again towards the end. Looking forward to seeing the third one, especially since Keith Richards is supposed to be making a cameo.

I didn't like it. It was just one long set up for the third movie. Since there was little to no character development and no resolution to the plot, I left the theater feeling like I had spent 2+ hours watching an action movie in which nothing happened.
I was disappointed. Even in a trilogy, it's nice when each chapter has it's own story to tell.

For a Disney movie, it was pretty good. I enjoyed the special effects, make-up and overall story. I just didn't like the fact that they left you hanging at the end. That's Hollywood, I guess - keeping you wanting more!

It was terrible. There was almost no story at all. The stunts scenes were to wacky to be good.
Davy Jones and his crew were too reminiscent of Barbossa and his crew in the first movie.
It was maybe the worst movie I've seen all year.

It was ok but not as good as the first. I thought it was way too long. they could have cut a lot out of it to shorten it up.
