No, usually it means you are under even more stress. You know how celebrities are constantly being watched and every move, outfit and comment criticized? It's like that...except it is your peers and they are in your face. You always need to be better and do things to top yourself. It is a complete waste of time to pine away hoping to be popular. Have a good group of friends and focus on pursuing interests you have, not something that is looked up to by a bunch of mindless people who copy others because they have no original thoughts.

Well, popular people can be happy, but not ONLY popular people are happy. Then again, if people weren't so concerned with looks, maybe it would be the popular people who were happy. I mean, doesn't it make sense that the good natured people should have a lot of friends?

Yes, but no... You can be popular because you are looking good, have a rich, great family, and because you have a lot of free time from your parents. You don't have to be happy. But if people like your for being nice, then you should be happy and satisfied smile.

Depends on how you got popular and if you had to change who you are to get popular. If not then why can't you be happy and popular.

I wouldn't think so. When you are popular, there are always people telling you how to dress, how to act and who to be friends with. You really can't be yourself.
When you are not popular, you can do your own thing, and dress how you like and have morals and values. That would make me happier than being poular.

No, happiness is made up of more things more important than being popular, things like being freindly, peaceful, understanding, helpful, easygoing

No way! It's horrible. You have all kinds of pressure to be a certain way and do things just because everyone else is. It's too much stress to keep up the appearance.

no. you can be popular and miserable, popular and happy, unpopular and happy, or unpopular and unhappy.
I'd recommend unpopular and happy - it's the easiest and healthiest.

No. It means you worry too much about what others think of you.
Just do your own thing.
