Try this on for size:
Pronounced: PERK-o-set
Generic ingredients: Acetaminophen, Oxycodone hydrochloride
Other brand names: Endocet, Roxicet, Tylox

The generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone Hydrochloride with Acetaminophen.

Ignore the first guy's flippant answer. The generic form of percocet is oxycodeine I believe. Your doctor needs to specifiy brand name or generic when he prescribes it to you.

The first person has it almost right except, Tylox is not right. Trust me, I know drugs. I'm a recovering addict. These drugs are oxycodone.

Loracet and Loratab is a whole different type of pain killer. These drugs are hydrocodone.

Percocet is Oxycodone. It is also known by Lortab and Lorcet
