Who thinks the music industry or whoever puts people like Jessica Simphson, and other untalented people, up to sing are really only putting them out there for there looks and not there actual ability to sing.

Let's face it, the musicianship has been lost in music.
Most rappers figure if they say enough swears, it'll cover up for the fact that they are talentless.
Most pop singers (men and women) try to cover up for their lack of talent by being sluts.
Even country music, to me, isn't as good as 10-15 years ago.
Some very good bands aren't being signed to major record labels because they'd rather shove all this junk down kid's throats

I agree that there are a lot of untalented people that don't deserve the fame they have, but Jessica Simpson is not one of them.. She's a terrible actress, but she has a beautiful voice.. unless she's singing "These Boots..", but whatever, everyone makes mistakes.

the counting crows lead singer needs to retire. his voice is horrible. jamie fox is a good entertainer and he does have a good voice, but not so good that he chould have song a performance on the awards. he doesnt have a good length for verbrado, and he improvises his voice. whitney houston had a good voice, but she screamed too much, and crack destroyed her career. justin timberlake is a 2000 michael jackson trying to be gangsta with a pinch of sugar in his tank. he doesnt sing, he squeaks like a mouse, and does michael jackson moves.
rappers...Jay-Z sucks *** now, he can't even make a rhyme any more. and snoop dogg...what in the hell went wrong snoop??? ya relaxer was too strong? and what about 50 cent...he sucks, all he does is talk about the same **** as his last album before, matter of fact, thats what all rappers do today!
there is no real talent in show business anymore, we have subcome to the power of money, and the productivity of selling sex. every song, every video, what do you see??? ***, titties, money and gangstas. what ever happend to the real messages that 2pac brung? the mesages about life in the ghetto, not the way to **** up the ghetto life even more!
shania twain, great singer, beautiful voice, and a great artist...

I totally agree. Also - there are alot of people that can sing but not dance (m carey) and can dance but don't really have that great of a singing voice (b spears)

I do. The music industry dictates every aspect of what you listen to. The best artists are never heard of.

It happens everywhere. I currently work with un-talented people, but yet they still have a job. Video killed the Radio star.
