How come Hurley is still so fat after more than 2 months living on that island in LOST? Eating Fruit and fish I thought was the perfect diet almost!!! I just don't get it...?

they found a stash of food down in the hatch plus a mysterious plane came by and dropped off like a years supply of food. apparently he has dropped a few pounds anyway..

It's the character & the way Hurley's character is supposed to be and look like. He has lost a bit of weight though, obviously not enough, but it's the look for the role he plays.

i chanced on the e book to be very informative and basic to envision. i've got lost 17 pounds in 12 days, i'm purely worried that i'm dropping too a lot weight, too without postpone. i'm going to admit i've got no longer accompanied the instruction manual precisely. i'm no longer sticking completely to the listed meals and meal plans (yet commonly) and doing little or no exercising, however the load retains flying off. It needless to say works and if i could accompanied it precisely i think of it may scare the residing daylights out of me by way of quantity that i could lose. And they haven't been on the island for 3 years, only been there about 2/3 months haven't they? Losing that much weight that fast isn't healthy!

You obviously haven't been watching closely enough! He had a stash of food from the plane Which he showed Libby and destroyed! Then they all found food from the Darma people in the hatch and there was also a food drop that was found! He hasn't had to change his diet drastically YET!

They found that hatch with all that food in it plus he's only been on the island for two months. That's not a lot of time to lose a significant amount of weight.

Maybe he's representing all those fatties who claim they have a 'medical condition' and it's not what they eat that makes them fat since they supposedly live on nothing more than lettuce leaves...

the problem is they are not really on an island and it is an actor playing someone who is lost. On TV. It is not a tiny world living in your home.

Obviously, he's been cannibalizing himself. It's a perfect example of a closed loop system. That's why you never see him with his shirt off -- you'd see the teeth marks from where he's been eating his own blubber.
