I'm a direct descendant of a Duke, but my second cousins have a much better claim on the title.
I'm an American, so for all practical purposes I don't get to have or use a hereditary title.

I would love to get my title back from my grandfather who passed away. Before WWII we had the VON Hellberg title. It got stripped off when the NAZIS came to power. This would be reall great if I could add this name back to my name Von Hellberg-Bertrand . Sounds cool and is a real tradition.

I would be a Duchess. I love reading trashy historical romances, and I think it would be fun to be Duchess for a while.

I'd choose Lady. It just sounds so right with my name. Lady Jacqueline. I sign my name like that sometimes :-)
