Dear Nicole, I believe as much as it is a matter of how you care for your skin externally, it is also a matter of what you eat. Skin reflects health. I have found that eating salad more often (every day if possible and not with thick gluey dressings but just a bit of olive oil and lemon) a real help. Fresh food, good rest and drinking a good amount of water always help!

Number 1, makes sure you drink plenty of water...
Number 2, do not overwash your face, and keep it moisturized and when you work out, make sure you do not have gel spray, etc. in your hair or makeup on, because the sweat mixed with product will clog pores...
Number 3, get the Acnefree system...it cost $20.00 at CVS, and it is basically the same thing as Proactive, but way cheaper. It contains a cleanser, toner, and lotion, so everything you need is there!
Number 4, keep your stress to a minimum if possible! Stress will cause breakouts, so take care of your soul and not just your skin, beauty starts within...

If your skin is generally good, then you must be doing something right. I guess the main thing for healthy skin is to wash 2x a day with a gentle cleanser, exfoliate 1-2x a week (or do a face mask), and wear moisturizer with SPF 15 (at least). No regimen will work for every person. My skin sounds similar to yours, and I use Clinique 3-step, and during the day I use this Dior Hydraction SPF moisturizing fluid, works for me. If you get the occasional zit, spot treat it with Oxy 5.

natural anti bacterial - Honey.
spread a thin layer on at night after cleansing (i use Cetaphil) and moisturizing. sleep on ur back, put a towel on the pillow (it can get sticky). try not to move around when sleeping!!
1-2 times a month exfoliate: get a bottle of uncoated aspirin @ wal mart (0.97 cents).... take 4-5 tablets, drop some water in them, they will soften. add some honey (or cetaphil) and mix, rub gently onto clean face. leave on for at least 30 min, i do longer... wash w/ warm water and pat dry. Moisturize!!!! ur skin will feel soft~

Cut out pop and excess sugars. Also I would suggest in investing in Proactiv it is an amazing product and works really well, I use it myself and it keeps my face very clear. For the kit it is about 50 bucks but depending on how long you use it and how often you need it you can stretch it out for about two months. I think the website is www.practiv.com and you can order it directly from there.

Well I have the same problem but my friend told me that if you just wash your face everyday morning and night and maybe a third time each day it will be clear.
