What do you mean you can't display it? If it's in your queue you must put it in your house to have it display in front of the house.

I am not sure, this has been happening to me too. I recently bought a trophy from my other account and was going to display it in my house but it keeps popping up that there is nothing there. I will add details to this is I can figure it out. Good Luck!

first you have to win it. then go to your house and the room you want to put it in. Now go to themunu bar and use the arrows to search through your items when you find the trophy you want put it somewhere in that room. and last click save Hope i helped!!!
