I recommend just looking up all the OB's in your area then calling each one and asking if they accept medicaid or not. That truly is the only way to do it because even if you look them up online and it says they accept it, alot of them will either tell you they aren't accepting new medicaid patients until after the 1st of the year or they are no longer accepting them period. But you should have no problem in finding a couple good choices to choose from.Good luck in your search(also even if you called medicaids 800 number and asked for their list of providers that are accepting medicaid, their list isnt updated, you will still be out of luck)

The best place I have gone to and will go to again if I do not have health insurance is Planned Parenthood. I am not sure if they take Medicaid but you can ask and they will tell you. They charge on a sliding scare according to what you can afford. The people who work there are kind, curtious and very knowledgeable. I would definately check and see if there is one in your area or where the closest office would be to you.

Good luck!

Call any GYN in the book and ask them! Also check in the yellow pages under family planning or county health department. They are usually free.

go to Yahoo, type in Gynecologist and your zip code, it will give you the ones closest to you, then call them and ask if they accept it, most do I would think
