The college that I went to did not allow it. However, that didn't keep them from hiding boys in their rooms and having them spend the night.

If she's attending a small private/religious-affiliated school, there are most likely rules prohibiting friends of the opposite sex in any dorm room after a certain hour at night. There are generally free hours during the day so students can study in any rooms.
If she's attending a public or a larger school, no. There are generally no rules specifying the type of people allowed to spend the night at any given time. If your daughter has a roommate, however, rest assured this roommate will not appreciate your daughter getting it on with a boy at 3 a.m. on the top bunk of their bunk bed while she tries to sleep below and will most certainly let her know this, if not simply kick the boy out. You have no need to worry; these elements of self- and roommate-regulation (and the time-consuming nature of homework) are not really conducive to your daughter's becoming a crazed sex fiend who has boys over every weekend and weeknight. Give her a chance to develop some responsibility and self-esteem on her own.
Males and females also rarely live on the same floors of a building. Floors alternate male/female (first floor male, second female, third male, etc.).

they probably aren't ALLOWED to, but there's nobody that comes by to check the dorms every night to see if there are boys in there... it's all up to the roommates and at the beginning of the year they usually have to agree on things like what time lights have to be off, what time TV has to be off, etc. etc, and one is usually what time opposite sex has to leave. but yeah boys DO stay.

College students are considered adults, usually there's no restriction on having the opposite sex spend the night. So you're just going to have to accept the fact that your daughter is going to be able to do whatever she wants in college and there's nothing you can do about it!

Some colleges you are not aloud to spend the night but they can be in there together. Some require to leave by a certain time and other there are no rules and regulations to it. Sorry, but all you can do is hope that she does make the right decicions!

i hate to break it to ya...but there's nobody that comes and knocks on the door each night to make sure that everyone's tucked in ready for bed. i would just make sure ur daughter knows how to properly use condoms and another form of birth control (pill, shot, ring, etc...) the only thing you can do is hope that she'll make the right decision and be safe.

No. At my dorms, we had a curfew for visitors of the opposite sex. Don't worry, she'll be fine, there are still rules for her to follow at the dorms, and she'll always have the values and morals that you've instlled in her.
