This is a Labor Degree! You can get a safety certificate at almost any university!

Not sure where you are from but Humber College in Ontario has a very good program.

Be careful of online and correspondance courses as their degrees are not always recognised in the industry.

For more information check out IAPA (Industrial Accident Prevention Association) in Ontario.

You could also check out the Government OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Act/ Associations) websites in Canada and the USA for more information.

Human Resources Associations will likely be able to identify what you need in order to be considered qualified for the job that you are interested in.
