So, I haven't seen my boyfriend in about 2 weeks since we live kinda far apart. So he just called a little while ago and he asked if I wanted to go to the mall tomorrow. I told him i'd have to let him know later....everytime we hang out, we are ALWAYS going to the mall. we've been about 5 times together and its the same mall!!! i'm bored to death!!! how am i supposed to tell him that i want to do something else? if i tell him that i dont want to go to the mall, do u think that he'll understand and want to do something else? please does anybody have any advice?

Chances are, he feels the same way. You should just be honest with him and be like I really dont feel like going to the mall again, do you have anything else in mind? Suggest something like a movie, or dinner, offer to help pay, or even say you will go to the mall but you want to do something else too. My guess is, he keeps inviting you to the mall, because it is a safer environment and he might not realize how you feel, he doesnt know if you are ready to be alone with him or not yet. Communication is the most important thing in good relationships, and it is also important for both of you to come up with ideas of things to do.

Just tell him you don't want to go since you always go and you are sick of the mall. He should understand and try and give some other ideas for both of you to do. Maybe go to a movie and dinner together, if you have enough money. Get together at either your house or his and play a board game and make a meal together, or watch a movie or 2 at home and order a pizza or something. Maybe he'll be up for something like that. Just tell him and see what he thinks of the ideas.

First you should find out why he always want to go to the mall? To watch other girls? To not have to spend $$? Just to show you off? Is he hiding from someone? Ask him to go do SOMETHING else like a movie. If you never ask,then your answer will always be an unknown - ask him.

Maybe you should suggest going out to eat before you go to the mall..or suggest going to the mall for a lil bit then go and watch a good movie! he should understand that you would like to add a lil variety..maybe he thinks you like going to the mall so thats why he keeps suggesting it.

I think he should understand. just tell him babe we do nothing but go to the mall when we are together so why can't we go or doing something else for a change. let him know how you fell and where your coming from.

Just say, "How 'bout we go to that other mall? I went there the other day with (a friend's name here) & it was cool.", or if you don't have another mall, say,"I heard of this great place & ya wanna go today & ditch the mall?" I'm sure he won't take that offensively & if he does, then that's weird & you probably shouldn't be with him anyways.

whow the mall?! is that even considered a date. But i mean okay im sure that if he cares for you he wont be too crushed if you dont want to go to THE MALL. Try something else like maybe dinner or you can just hangout at either house, or maybe a movie or something. Im sure if you talk to him about it he wont be mad.

Just suggest some other things that may keep your interest and he would enjoy doing like the movies, bowling, shooting pool, dinner, skating, etc. Tell him you want to do other things and he should understand the fact that you and him go so much to the mall.

If you don't like to go to the mall then just go this one last time and Then why don't YOU ask him if he wants to go somewhere else?
Maybe he just goes because he thinks YOU are having fun!
