mother? Like do all the housework, play shrink, act like mom to the kids AND to them?
My guy right now makes me feel like his mother, who got booted out when I came along, he was 30 living with his mother before me....weird, I think.
Now he acts like such a child half the time, even LIKES watching kids shows, then he expects sex later in the night (NOT HOT, A MAN CHILD) he wants to have respect yet acts childlike...he is 33 now, and im 25.

By living with him and having sex with him, you have basically given away the store and he pays no price. He has no reason to change. He is getting everything he wants.

He must not be used to responsibility. Although it's sweet and mother-like to not kick him out soon after he reaches his twenties, it sounds like she might have gone easy on him by letting him slack on housework and such.
Does he have a job? If he doesn't, then he must really not know what responsibility is.
What does he say when you ask him to help out (if you ask him to help out) around the house?
He's 33 and acting less than half his age it seems. It sounds like you need to buckle down and lay down the rules. If he doesn't want to act like an adult, he won't be treated like an adult.

"...act like mom to the kids AND to them?"
I think others read this wrong but I see what you mean.
You are already playing the role of a Mother to your children but you shouldn't have to wait on your spouse hand and foot.
Cartoons are fine but judging by the fact he was 30 and still living with his Mother, I'd say he has some growing up to do.
Have you tried confronting him about this?
Tell him to pick up some of the household responsibilities.
If he really loves you, he will see that he has to do his part to relieve some of the burden that has been placed on you.
Good luck, hope I helped.

My husband was like that in the beggining. He came right from his moms house into mine. It was hard at first, just remember to comunnicate. Communication is the only option. You have to tell him how he comes across and what you need from him. He may not even know that he is doing this. His mother my start to compete for hie affection, my mother in law did. Because he treated me so much like a mother figure she felt threatened, you don't want it to get to that point. Good luck!

quit doing everything for him, tell him you are his girlfriend not his mom and if he wants his mom he needs to go. Also does he not work? at the age of 33 he should have a job, home, vehicle and bank account. If he doesn't you need to get rid of him because he won't change and you need a man not a child. good luck.

Your first clue should have been that he was still living with his mama when he was 30. He is imature and there is nothing you can do about. Your choices now are to learn to accept it or divorce him. Good luck.

Honestly, you should have guessed he was a loser when he was living with his folks still at 30. Dump him, throw him out, and find a guy who is worth your time.

They never grew up, but then again you should've seen it coming, since he was 30 and still living at home with mommy.
