Oh my gawd! I am so excited!! I just found out today that I will be sitting in the VIP section at the Staples Center watching the Lakers play. I'll be with my boyfriend - we just got a place together last weekend. After the game, we're going to go out to a nice dinner and have a few drinks. Then we're heading to a 4-star hotel for two nights before we go back home. Yay! It's the best New Year's Eve I've had in years and I haven't even done it yet. I just know it will be. So happy about it!

Stay Home -- have a hot herbal tea, finish my chores and go to bed early -- I need the PEACE and QUIET that I am going to get on New Year's Eve -- and it will be just another day of chores to do, things to finish, and everything else on New Year's Day for me -- but ... at least I will be FREE the whole year -- since I've just become an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree and I am going to ENJOY the fact that I AM the ONLY person in my HOME at this time!

I'm going to stay home with my wonderful husband, drink some mixed drinks and enjoy a cheese and sausage platter. I don't like crowds as much as I did when I was younger. Maybe get a movie we both can enjoy. Old age has a way of working the party animal out of you.

listen to Big Band and Jazz watch television and have some snacks then later make a little noise so as not to wake the neighbors.

drink drink and get drunk
realize im not drunk enough and drink some more
uh my head hurts
now im ready to go to the club
kiss my girl and enjoy new year's eve
so in all get really drunk
