I'm straight, and have a girlfriend, and dated women before her. Im in love with her.. Then comes my bestfreind to the whole picture. He is straight as well, and has a gf He and I go back a long time, I could say that I trust him more than my family. Actually I act like myself when im with him, more so than my gf. I trust him with my life... one night we got drunk and things happend. . After we crossed the line, It was like a different world for both of us. It felt strange and weird yet it was fun, and unfamilliar territory. One thing was said though, we both felt good about things, and there were no regrets. He and I remained very close, and did things behind close doors. According to him it felt normal, i agreed. Time passed by, and he and I said "i love you's" Im so nutz about this guy, Ive never felt such love ...he's the only one that knows me, and accepts me for who I am & all my shortcomings in life. Now he has temporarily moved away for work. Everyday is like hell for me

Are you sure that you're really straight? It sounds the you two are in love and I don't mean love each other as friends. I have several very close friends that I love dearly but have never, and wouldn't even consider, having sex with. You really can't stop loving someone. You have no control over those feelings. If you both feel the same way about each, and you're both comfortable having a same-sex relationship, then from what you've said it seems like you two belong together.

I do not ascribe to the whole homosexuality thing but in all honesty you never stop loving someone. It may be dampened or set aside for a time but you never truly stop. The only thing that can change it is for the other person to completely destroy it to the point where you no longer love, or hate them. Apathy is the direct opposite of love as hate still requires feelings of a strong nature. I would imagine you can still write or phone this person, nothing says you have to give up a friendship for sexual love. However if that is the path you both decide to take, then it will work out in the end.

You say you are straight but also a g'friend? And in love with her? So what are you saying. You are homo or not?But you crossed the line and slept with a man? You gotta follow your heart and just remember your sexuality. You either go straight or stay with g'friend. If you are so nuts for this guy why arent you seeing men? So many ?'s here I'm not sure you know your own sexuality.I can see like everyday is hell for you. Gotta make your own mind up which way u need to go.

In the first place I wouldn't feel guilty. Without normal experimentation you'd never know what satisfies you. It's unfortunate your feelings are not returned but, not the end of the world. You can't legislate love. This person will probably always hold a special place in your heart. That's nice. Each time a thought of him enters your mind, instantly replace it with another pleasant thought. Eventually it will become easier for you to assimilate.

How long is temporary and does he feel the same way about you? Can you move there or is he close enough to see on his days off? Why don't you both download MSN or Yahoo messenger and talk? I think you should let him know exactley how you feel.

If you are in love with him, that means you aren't straight. You don't have to worry about being judged... being bi or gay is fine. You need to tell your girlfriend, though, and so does he. Don't try to stop loving him, embrace this great thing you've found and run with it.
Best of luck ~

You are now gay my friend. You can never stop loving some one, no matter how hard you try. It's odd that way.
