I hate it when my girlfriend text messages when i'm around her. It just really irritates the s.hit outta me! I feel like she must be textng sumthing that she cant say out loud around me & if this is the case, then she shouldnt be texting it either!!! I havent actually gone as far as checkng her phone, but im close to it!!! Is this doing too much???

Okay, yea if u want to be literal then yes its doing too much. BUT if u want the truth coming from another woman with a girlfriend, then NO. Do what u gotta do. Now im a little more straightforward & i'll just aske her who she's textng & ask her if she can put the damn phone away for now. If she catches an attitude then she probably is doing sumthing she shouldnt be. Just talk to her. Aske her questions. Dont nag. But u r her girlfriend and u do have the right to honesty.

Probably knowing to worry about. This just the age we live in. It seems that is OK to text or talk on your phone while with your friends. If your were having a conversation with her and some one came up and started talking about what they did last it would be rude as hell. Now if your friend calls you while you are talking to someone it is perfectly OK to interrupt the conversation and take the call. Your girlfriend should have the politeness to not talk on or text with her phone while you are together. Cell phones are redefining the manners of society, and not sure it is in a good way. Do not check her phone, she should be allowed that privacy. If she is talking about things that she does not want you to hear then you should respect that. If she is cheating then you are too worthy for her in the first place.

yep that's going too far! she probably is just texting someone something that she is more comfortable telling that other person than you. I'm sure there are things you are more comfortable talking to guys about than your girlfriend. Trust me, girls just don't like to tell guys things since it really makes them more comfortable talking to girls about it. I know I don't tell my bf everything cuz I'd rather talk to a female about it and the same with him. You obviously have a trust issue that you need to work out. Talk to her and ask her once what she is texting. If she says it's girl stuff, leave it at that, sometimes that's all it is. If she is willing to tell you then you have nothing to worry about.

lol my gf would do the exact same thing, except the people i text are my dad and my sister and my friend amelia so she wont find much hahaha... why dont you just tell her you dont like her texting around her and if your concerned ask her who shes texting.
