Would it be songs by Paul, John, George or Richard? It is given that Lennon and McCartney songs were predominantly individual contributions....so which songs would you take - limit to 5 (i know thats hard to do)

Albums or individual songs?

Albums would have to be:

1. Sgt Pepper's
2. Magical Mystery Tour
3. Abbey Road
4. White Album
5. Help

Songs are harder but I would try ( But there's way too many!):

1. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
2. Help
3. A Hard Days Night
4. Day Tripper
5. She's Got A Ticket To Ride

Seeing as how today marks 26 years from the death of Lennon... I really should make an attempt to pick five of his, right?

This is as much as I can narrow it, i'd toss a coin to settle the other ones.
1.Maxwell's Silver Hammer or Eleanor Rigby (tie)
2. Love Me Do, I want to Hold Your hand (tie)
3. Here Comes the Sun, While my guitar* (tie)
4. Strawberry Fields, Norweg. Wood, or My Michelle (tie).
5. Helter Skelter, Day in the life (tie).

Ouch, no Ringo.

*only because it features Clapton

1.Yesterday - Beatles
2. Hey Jude - Beatles
3. My Sweet Lord - George Harrison
4. Mull of Kintyre - Paul Mc cartney
5. Imagine - John Lennon
It's just a good job i've got about 6 cd's with all these and more. Cos it is difficult to choose 5.

I did it. On the Dragonship Ringo, I rounded the delex 3200 in
record time moving in behind the Strawberry fields to the
Mr. Postman mountain cliffs, drawing the dolphins off to the
aqua peace. Landing to meditate for the 10 hours second
John Yoko peace prayer I had to say the individual efforts with
their own kids was my choice. All had such outside discs cut
in the early years, I chose the ones with the classic songs.
John and Darryl, yoko, sean with Mr. Postman, Paul with
Chloe and Linda doing Mercy, mercy and She loves you.
Ringo with Barbara and Ollee, Karlotta, and Dean doing several
choices from ringos mountain jam show, and especially
Help. George with Patty , Semore, and Dennis doing My
Sweet Lord the whirligigs reunion and especially Rubber soul.
So I got out of the jamroad netrak with PM, and JL manuever 1.

Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. At least I like singing along to all of those songs. I'd go crazy with thier earlier stuff - too 'poppy' for a deserted island.
Would you be on the island with me? That might be fun!
