I am sorry that your parents have forgotten what it was like to be young..or did they? maybe this is truly the way that they were raised..and even though it is mean,...just get good grades in school,..and get a job and get out asap...don't try to run away, you'll only find yourself in a worse predicament...please little one, ask someone to help place you somewhere else, if this is really too much for you to bear...something is not right with your story..so go to school and ask a counselor if they can help you...if you involve someone at school..he will have no choice but to stop...or put you in another home where you can be treated better....now if he is hitting you that is..if you are just having to do work,...well, you won't believe me, but some day you are going to thank the old guy for teaching you to take responsibilities...and you should work on your spelling, not to be mean...education is your freedom...God Bless and say your prayers for strength

There is nothing wrong with parents making a child do some chores. It teaches you that you will have to work when you are an adult in the real world. I don't think you should run away. That won't solve anything.

Um... you need to talk to your parents about how you're feeling. Don't run away... not a good idea. Sounds like you still need some parental guidance and time to grow up.
