I love being in my thirties!
I can tell kids off in the street/bus and they do what I say.
I remember my parents being my age so I o longer feel I have to take their advice/that they know better than me.
I feel more comfortable being the person I am now than in my teens/twenties
There is no shame in staying in with a cup of cocoa or a decent bottle of wine in your thirties.
People respect your opinion more.
When I choose to go out clubbing I will wear a coat if its cold outside and queue for the cloakroom and have the money to pay for the cloakroom and a drink in the club.
I like telling people my age and them being surprised and saying i look a lot younger - that would have upset me ten years ago.
I like being taken seriously in shops, meetings, etc.
And facing the fact that I wasted a lot of my life and I don't want to grow old stuck in mundane jobs has given me the kick in the pants I needed to go and do something more interesting instead.

I'm 2 years away from it, why is it difficult?
in 2 years i will still be in the same life with the same man with the same kids, its just an age theres nothing difficult about it, unless you make it hard for yourself then its your own fault your 30's are gonna be sh*ttie!

I liked 30. Everything bad that can happen has probably happened in your life and you've lived through it. You hopefully have marketable job skills. And 30 year olds retain enough of that youthful quality to still be physically appealing to 20 year olds and 40 year olds. Then again, maybe that was just me. Your life might suck. Do something about it.

It's probably because you haven't accomplished the things that you thought you would have by the time you turned 30.
You need to come to terms with who you are and be happy with the life you have. If you do that, 30 is easy.

I'm 34 and never found it difficult, got there quite quickly and easily lol
I am worried about 40 though god that seems old if I think of that number being thought about when I was a teenager eeeekkkkk

You think 30 is difficult wait till you get to 60, seriously you are as old as you feel, enjoy life you only get one chance at it.

Because you just realized that you are a grown up. Since high school you've still seen yourself as a kid. Now all the sudden you realize you aren't a kid anymore.

I don't know...I'm having the same trouble...I've been practicing being thirty for almost 20 yrs now. Wait that makes me almost 50.Darn it.
