JAVA has a small font glitch.Plus many other problems. If java is launching your games The coffee cup logo while loading. Go to start button, settings, go to control panel open internet options. advance tab,scroll down and see if msn VM is listed,if so, unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. This lets micro soft virtual machine launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time. i play games about every night with no problems using these settings. If the game lounges are full they will not let you in under normal log on methods!Here is an easy fast way into games. And it by-passes log in problems. Go to http://www.shove-it.com find game select lounge page you want to play. Click on file, send, desk-top short cut. Or add to your favorites. This gives you a straight link to shove it. Now click on a lounge, it will take you to yahoo games log in page. Log in, then minimize log in window while its loading. Now click the lounge link again and open the log in window back up. Your in. nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that’s full or not. Good luck with your games.

That little red "X" denotes you have a Java issue

If it was originally a Yahoo problem it is not now as i can logg into any lounge, but then i use Virtual Machine
When Yahoo updates sometimes it can leave you behind

When yahoo updates you must update as well

Update.......Make sure you pop up blocker is off (top of your browser in tools)and once in the lounge click "options" bottom left of lounge and choose the small tables option...... -- If you cant log into chat/games it is because Yahoo's browser has issues with SUN java as default, the coffee cup sux... The Virtual Machine Java works better with yahoo. Yahoo is Java dependant.
This is also the reason for the games applets not loading and some web cam issues. The easiest fix is to update , make sure all your windows are updated

Right click your explorer icon on your desktop......click properties..then the general tab (top left)..in the temporary internet files section (middle), choose view objects...see all Yahoo downloaded programme files?
if any are damaged, right click them and delete them..they reload each time you logg into games..right click Yahoo spades and choose update, or bite the bullit and delete it.......it reloads each time you logg in

hey sniff if you answer this question also i still need help i followed everything on your answer. When i went to the update screen it says you need to be running 1.5.0_07, i was running 1.5.0_06 so i updated and it now says i am running 1.5.0_09 and says it is the most up to date but i still can not get into any spades rooms beside suicide rooms.
