Definitley. Without a doubt, the best game on 360. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is perfect, and there is nothing really negative to say about it, except that the Kryll suck. Its worth every penny you pay for it and more. Once you finish up the single player mode, the online is pretty awesome. Overall: 10/10.
Note: Im not a fanboy for anyone. Gears of War is amazing.

The game's capaign is lacking, but is still enjoyable. Xbox live is where the game really shines, with lots of maps and people to play against. However, this game is not like halo. If you have Perfect Dark Zero that would be kind of a good comparison, except GoW is better. It requires using lotsa cover and you can't just run out and shoot everyone. It's a good game, if your into it's style of gameplay.

gears of war is the absolute best game in the universe. there is no better way to spend your money than on that.

everyone i know says gears of war is incredible. the online play looks awesome. also check out alliance: the silent war

Gears of Wars is very realistic and has great graphics (I own it). I'd definitely get it.

Gears oof War is the number one game for 360 so yes get it! Its a great game and you can get trailers and info at gamespot.com
