It is supposed to be a compliment meaning that you are shapely, curvy, or voluptuous (in a nice way). Someone that is "thick" has the right amount of fullness in the right areas like the breasts, hips, and buttocks as opposed to the stomach, arms, neck.

nicely convinced, in a way. even with the undeniable fact that, it truly is a praise. If a guy calls a lady "overweight" he's grew to grow to be off by her curves. If a guy says "thick" he likes it. you've a body style that he unearths alluring.

It depends on the context.

If someone is talking about clothes or fashion, "thick" can mean sllightly chubby...needing to buy the largest size clothes you can get before you have to go looking for "plus sizes." Example: "Gee, I'd never fit into anything in the Junior's department; I'm kinda thick."

In other cases, it can mean stupid or slow on the uptake. That's generally the meaning used anytime people are *not* talking about clothes or fashion. Example: "I failed chemistry, math and history this semester; I guess I'm just thick."

Hope this helps.
