Someone had to be filming this, so more than one person had to be involved.

All of the ladies just seemed stunned and they just screamed a little and walked on after getting their clothes in order again, while the man ran away.

There were about 12-15 different women on the clip that experienced this.

What would you have done experiencing a situation like that?

In America I would hope that some decent guy would have clobbered them for their act of assault.

And there are some american women that would have done that themselves

Sexual assault is commonplace in Japan. In fact so common they made those trolleys have special "women only" trolley cars for rush hour times when it is most likely a pervert would attack. You usually see this in trains and it's called "chikan densha" in Japan or "train rape". Women in Japan are also taught to be modest and weak, rather than independant. The opposite of a feminist ideal, embracing the traditional role of a woman.

Anyway, turns out they are more comfortable with this sort of thing in Japan, I know a guy who did the following:

1) Walked with two friends naked into a 24hr shop, started looking through magazines. Checkout assistant did nothing, so they bought three pairs of underwear and put them on in the store. When they walked outside they got arrested.

2) Lost a bet and had to climb up the side of some theme park castle, naked, screaming "I'm coming princess, I'm coming."

I've also seen pictures taken of a mate of mine unaware that in around ten of them a Japanese guy was either:

1) Exposing his bare behind.

or

2) Lifting his shirt up and having his nipples twiddled by another Japanese guy.

Different cultures are fascinating!

Of course this is a very hypothetical situation but if this were to be done in the United States, chances are are the person doing this would probably have a very angry person confronting them, whether it was the women being humilated or some person witnessing the action. It's a really stupid and insensitive things to do, regardless of where and in which culture it's done.

Yes, it is a culture thing. This kind of thing is illegal in Japan, but most people would rather not get involved. Women are often the victim of sexual assault on crowded trains. There must be witnesses, but they choose to ignore it.

In the west somebody would probably intervene and, at the very least, the woman would be screaming blue murder. I know plenty of women who would chase that guy and pull HIS pants down. Then kick him in the .....
