I need to get a few for my boyfriend and I to play. I like UNO and Jenga, but I don't have any others.

I like a lot of specialty games that used to be made by the Avalon Hill company, but you kind of have to be a hard core board gamer to get into those (some take 5 or 6 hours to play). A new game that I just played recently and really like was Apples to Apples. Compatibility is a good "couples" game if you play with friends. Scrabble is a good 2-person game and so is Sequence. Another good 2-person game we have is called Perfect 10. It's a trivia game.

I play board games all the time. My favorite two player games are Boggle and this word game called Quiddler, which you can pick up at the specialty toy stores or the calendar stores.
Battleship is still fun. Hoopla is a great game and can be played with 2 players. It is made by the Cranium people.

A favorite of mine has always been Battleship. I even had a version for my Game Boy back in the 90's. I also like "Heroquest" a lot but Milton Bradley stopped making it and, well...
Another few good ones I can think of are Stratego & Risk.

alright, I play a lot of board games and have a small list for you, you WILL NOT be able to get them at a regular store (except one), these are not classic games like monopaly and risk, though they would have been if people even bothered looking into new games these days.

I play chess,just to feel smart,actualy I think the best board ever is monopoly..but opinions vary.

my boyfriend and I like playing "LIFE" or Scrabble, my favorite group games are Scattegories, Scrupples and Balderdash...when I was a kid I loved the game sagaland
