Make me safe? No.
Make me feel safe? Since he started this civil war in Iraq, I don't think I'll ever feel safe from one group or another's desire for retribution against the US for the loss of innocent Muslim women and children's lives.
If we don't hold Bush accountable, the Iraqi peoples hate and need for revenge will be a far greater threat than any weapon from North Korea or Iran.

i'm British so i'm no longer entitled to an opinion quite. even with the undeniable fact that, on a quite lighter note, from what I said of him he appeared to be a real man or woman, quite naive perchance & no longer quite the entire fool because it truly is now popular to signify, who really cared about what he became doing. perchance he turned right into a contact incorrect about Iraq yet i'd say that once 9/11 the american human beings very a lot needed a short reaction and Saddam, being the evil entity he became, became seen as a valid objective to be overthrown. i'd have loved to have spent a evening with George W as he probable had a lighter area and a good experience of humour (Brit spelling!!). Pity he's grow to be teetotal because he'd nonetheless be the vast form one American baby-kisser for whom i'd purchase a drink! Later: G' Morning, i trust! Smoking weed? That leaves 'ASHES'. With England for a short time possibly? Please do not blackball me for that. The Yanks may by no skill understand!!!! Cumon Aussie!!. Cumon!!!!!!

Do you feel safe?
Our ports are wide open. Our borders are wide open. We have more enemies and fewer allies than at anytime ever before. Our credibility is zilch. It's been five years since 911 which means the next attack should be right around the corner. You know, the one one they dreamed up that had nothing to do with airport security or illegal wiretaps. While looking for non existent WMDs in Iraq he allowed a crazy man develop them in North Korea.
I'd feel safer wearing Magic Johnson's used condom like a ski mask.

No, in fact, I feel less safe since he became president and started this insane war in Iraq. The USA is now hated around the world, more than ever before thanks to Bush. My hope is that this, too, will change.

Yes and a lot safer than Clinton. Bush actually stands up against the terrorists threat.
After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, accepting Bin Laden when offered by the Sudan in 1996 for example, an estimated 6,000 people in New York and Washington, D.C. that are now injured or dead would be alive today.
