how do i set up a network connection to 2 computers plugged in to the same router?

Lynksys router 2 computers running xp

Computers connected to LAN ports.
DHCP in linksys router.
Windows Shares with same workgroup names on the 2 computers.
Windows Network Browser. (Network Neighborhood)

go to my computer, my network places, setup a home or samll office network. follow the wizard, its pretty simple.
