Not smarter, just wiser. I have trouble believing any study that says one is smarter then the other.
If you attend a Liberal College you will be surrounded by Liberals, in a Conservative College you will be surrounded by Conservatives, a wise person understands this.

They are not. Conservatives are just more pragmatic. Liberals tend to be more romantic. Stupidity, though, is like the flu. It can strike the intelligent as well as the idiot.

Liberals, GENERALLY make up the ends of the spectrum... the ultra-educated with advanced degrees, and the poor inner city folk. Traditionally, conservatives are in the muddled middle.

Listen to Washington Journal on CSpan in the AM.
The callers on the Rep line can barely speak or put a complete sentence together. They generally have no reason for their opinion other than "It's in the Bible" or "I'm a patriot."
Callers on the Dem line are well spoken, have all the information, ask probing questions, and so on.

Not the conservatives at this site. The dems tend to give lengthy and reasoned answers while the cons just make insulting short remarks and ask meanspirited (like our president) questions.

I don't know about that but most college professors are liberals and most liberals have graduated from Ivy League collegues.

Actually the opposite is true. Liberals are typically better educated and more culturally well-rounded.
