It could be the CV joints. Most of the time the outer joints wear out first as they have to rotate/move in a greater range of motion than the inners. An easy way to tell if the outers are worn is to turn the steering wheel all the way left or right, then accelerate a bit. The joints will click loudly if worn. Don't accelerate hard as the balls can actually pop out of the joint if worn enough and that'll ruin your day quick. You can buy refurbished drive axles from any good parts store.

You drive a Honda? If you try to take a corner does it get worse? If so yes its your CV joints. Note Price out the whole shaft from your parts store rather then just the outer joint. Its only 25 bucks or so more well worth it.

a good way of checking if it is a cv joint is to turn it to full lock and slowly drive in a cicle. you will definitely hear it if the cv joint has gone. Do it on both full locks.
