There are actually some stores excepting preorders of a Final Fantasy 7 remake, even though production has even planned for one.
But I have to admit, I'd love it.

Everyone who started playing rpgs because of that game would love it. But it wont happen until they make like playstation 5 at least. When they are at Final Fantasy 27 and seven is considered classic gaming.

On a side note, I am a little tired of hearing about final fantasy games. They need to not make one for at least three or four years and maybe Id be excited to see one again. But every year I hear about one coming out or one being made for next year.

I for one, would buy either a remake of FF7 or Chrono Trigger. The NDS would be a good console for both as the touch screen could make the original game even beter. Think about it... Instead of buttons used to navigate the menus, you could just touch what you want to do in a fast way. You could just touch the enemy you want to use an attack on or something. Unfortunately, I doubt Square-Enix would ever re-release CT. It might be easier to see FF7 but I'd be happy with just that one. I still have the original version on PS1 but I have no way of playing it anymore (my PS2 broke down).

I would like to see a next generation Final Fantasy 7, with improved graphics and everything. They've remade FFI-VI already, so I guess Final Fantasy VII is next. But I loved Final Fantasy VII and it was my favorite game in the series...
