They are made gay sometime before they are born.

Also, if you type 'born gay' under 'search for questions' you can see hundreds of other answers to questions similar as this.

Where you born straight? I think so because that is the "right" way. And it is. But then elveloution comes in and says "HOLY DARWIN! The worlds population is out of control! I gotta do something about this." And elveloution pulls a rainbow out of his pocket and now there are gays. Well that is the story you can tell to your children. But really they it is proven they are born that way. Just genetics.
