you wonder why people have taken offence at this question ??? it might have something to do with when u called complete strangers 'slappers' !!! wow - how narrow minded are you !?! people have to rights to do what the hell they want with their bodies - it's not effecting you, so what the hell gives u the right to be so judgemental ? i think the world would be a very boring place if everyone had perfect hair, perfect makeup....... beauty is to do with attitude and individuality..... just because u don't like something does not make it wrong.

i must admit to liking tattoo's, but do admit you can get some very untasteful ones. Why is it you think it makes them look like a slapper? And someone answered the question with what the tattoo will look like when they are 60, well i know at 60 there ain't no chance I'll show my tattoo off, as it's on my belly, and even without it who wants to see a granny belly eeewwww

Hmm i don't know to be honest... My best friends a 'slapper' but she hasn't got a tatto on the lower of her back and i'm not a slapper- i've never had a proper boyfried but i stil want one done. Personally i think that a pretty design on the lower of the back adds excitment i think the lower of your back being blank looks a bit boring.

Sorry don't agree! My daughter is pretty and has a dragonfly right at the base of her back. It was done in NZ by a top tattooist and is beautifully done.
How does this make a girl look like a slapper? Whats your definition of a slapper anyway? Someone who sleeps around? My daughter doesnt do that.
You seem rather narrow minded to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
PS maybe its you who should lighten up. I mean it was you who said 'slapper' which i consider quite a harsh term.

I've never heard of girls being called "slappers" because they had a tattoo...! If you don't like tattoos, well, that's your problem. I agree, some are really poorly done; but if it's done by a real artist, it can be beautiful (my sister had one done by her boyfriend and it's beautiful: it looks like a drawing).
As for people who think that people will be embarassed by it at 60... I don't think that they'll really care at 60 what they have on their back! I mean, they'll probably have other problems to think about!

Everyone has their own opinions about tattoos I myself have my son's name tattooed on the base of my neck and it is small but I see nothing wrong with having it done because he is my son and no matter what he will always be my son. My tattoos have meaning behind then and I think they are an expression of everyone's individuality. My tattoos have always been drawn and designed by me so it is a way for me to also be able to show off my art even though I didn't tattoo it on myself I know the work that I have done was created by me. Where as other people may view tattoos as being gross and disgusting or what have you but everyone is enttitled to their own opinions and in my opinion if someone doesn't like my tattoos then they have the choice of not seeing them because all of mine are hidden where I would have to show you them i always wear my hair down and so I would most def have to show them to you and the others are not in crude places of my body but are covered up by clothes. But I do also agree with you on where I think you are going with your question some people have tacky and distasteful tattoos done and they are in plain site where others can see them and I do think it looks bad. if you want a tattoo of something that is fine but I chose to get mine where nobody would see them unless I show them to you.

To get people talking...a way of attention seeking. Why else would anyone have a tattoo on their back? where THEY cant see it? more to the point, why would anyone else want to look at someones lower back..!!?
Its obviously their choice and their body though more likely they know someone who IS cool and popular that's had one done and they wanna have a bit of attention too.

I don't think girls who have tatoos are considered "slappers"
Why does it bother you so much anyways? Just worry about yourself

To each is own. I have a tattoo, in a spot where it isn't visable. But honestly, this is a free country, and some people find tattoos beautiful too. We all have our own opinions of beauty, and I hardly think a tattoo could ruin someone's beauty...considering it's from outside and inside too.

That's your opinion. Why that would bother you is beside me! What an individual chooses to do with their bodies, etc.. is their business. By being nitpicky and complaining about menial things such as that is so a waste of time. There are far more importnat issues that require attention as oppsed to this one!
