I am going to my husbands Christmas party tonight. I can't find my black slacks????? I am wearing a Red 92% Polyester 8% spandex shirt. Can I wear brown slacks w/ this. (materials match) Or is the red/brown combo not a good one? Help!

Ha. I loved the way you phrased your question. Of course you can wear red with brown..if you can pull it of. Actually red with brown is probably better then black because it is more of a warmer color. I would try it on first and see how it looks. I'm trusting that you can tell whether or not it fits well so you must make that decision yourself. Along with it I would be sure to accesories. Don't overload and go to Christmasy, just wear some nice gold dangles or braclets. Ask your husband how you look before you walk out that door and have fun!

the red/brown combo isn't bad.. if the slacks are light brown they'll compliment the red shirt much nicer. but the dark brown will work as well.. the lighter slacks actually let the red shirt stand out, light brown slacks won't compete with a dark or bright top.. darker colored pants will..
and make sure it's not a blue-ish red, make sure the shirt has more of a reddish/orangy feel to it.. blue-ish reds and browns kind of clash and dull each other out.. they make you look like someone turned the contrast dial down on you..
if you go for an orangy or gold type of red, the brown will pick up the colors of the shirt and make you pop in a crowd.. the tones in these colors play off each other and actually give you a glowing appearance..

Wear what you feel like wearing these days fashion is crazy if girls can wear a dress with jeans you can wear red and brown

im no fashion expert but i personally think its a nice match.. anywayz, its how u carry urself with your clothes that make you look dashingly gorgeous so u should do well...
