what pet is better to have a cat or dog.

a cat is more self sufficent, so if you dont want a really needy animal or you arent home often get a cat. dogs are like having a baby. you have to potty train them, play with them and love them. i wouldnt trade my dogs for anything in the world, but they are a lot of work.

Its up to you. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Dogs may be a little more work but they at least love you for more than just feeding time. And cats are not always pleasant. I ended up in the emergency room from an evil cat that attacked me and left 10 inch scars in both my arms. So cats arent always better. But dogs can bite too, So just train them well what ever you want. They both have goods and bads.

that depends on what your looking for. if your looking for something friendly that will always greet you at the door when you get home from work, and a morale booster after a hard day, get a dog, like a lab, or a pomeranian. those are a couple examples of VERY loving dogs. not only that, but a lot of dogs are smarter than you think. if your looking for something serene, highly intelligent, and affectionate, get a cat. or better yet, get both, that always works.

depends on the person if want something to curl up on ur lap then a cat if u want something bigger to sit beside u on the couch then a dog personally i can't choose between them they're both make really good pets

Neither is "better" it's a matter of personal choice / preference. Dogs require more care and attention whereas cats can pretty much take care of themselfs.

cat, no more trash dumped, no more things chewed up, no dog pies everywhere. the only thing I miss about my dog is it used to keep the cats box clean
