I am a card carrying elf. (well... there are cards in my pocket book, though honestly none of them call me an elf).
My friend helps Santa every year. She's got extra cash, and I know the people who need help. My friend is one of the most amazingly giving people I've ever met. I get to play elf and deliver as she does not want anyone to know who their 'benefactor' is (she even blushes at the word).
I count myself lucky to have such a wonderful full-time Santa in my life. (And she strikes several times a year!)
