OK well, Zinedine is of Algerian heritage (North Africa--considered Middle Eastern and predominantly Muslim).

and the Italian player made a racist comment, from what I heard, he referred to Zidane as a "terrorist" (because he's Middle Eastern and comes from a Muslim family).

Rubbish...you all believe the non Italian speaking media. What the effing hell do they know? This is what Materazzi said:

Materazzi was holding onto Zidanes shirt...and had been roughing him up a bit the whole game. So this was the exchange:

Zidane: "If you want my shirt, I'll give it to you after the game".
Materazzi: "no thanks, you can keep it".
Zidane: "I will leave it on the bench after the game"
Materazzi: "You can eff off with your shirt. I prefer your sister"

Now if that is insulting Zidanes family in anyway, then you can all eff off. That was a lame insult and so what, he finds his sister attractive...? I haven't seen her...she might well be.

Now this has been verified and someone who read-lip the incident and KNOWS ITALIAN has verified it. Yes...they both spoke Italian. because Zidane knows Italian (playedin Italy a few years) and Marco does not know French.

So believe all your lies...fact remains Zidane made a fool of himself and the dishonest French try to twist things around.

Wake up...!

edit: Oh yeah..and who was the fool who said he insulted Zidanes roots and because he is muslim, his religion also.

NEWSFLASH: Zidane is NOT a muslim. HAHAHAHA...don't you feel DUMB??? FFS!!!!!

It's Zinedine Zidane, and this subject has been rehashed no less than a million times. If you live in this universe you've heard the story and everybody has chosen a side. It's over, move on because it really doesn't matter. Zidane was wrong and ejected for his actions.

Zenedine Zedine? You definitely need a spelling coach and why are you still talking about this lame-o incident? It's not like they tossed haymakers at each other and we had a good fight. It's so over just like the whole WC 06 is.

"The thousand injuries of that Italian player I bore as best I could, but when he ventiured to insult my Mom, I head-butted that sumbitch like the dog he was."

They were having a discussion, like everyone knows, then Zidane told Mazzarini "Don't worry I'll give you my jersey when I win you" or something like that, to that Mazzarini said " Let me borrow your sister better" Zidane got pissed and then happened what happened.

He (Zidane) said it was a racist comment Mazzarini said to him, but that's really not what happened...
