YES IT IS THE WORST SITE ON THE NET. I WOULD NEVER LET MY KIDS ON MYSPACE. IT IS FULL OF PORN AND CHILD MOLESTERS. every day at the end of computer class ( I am in College) the guy who sits next to me looks at his myspace page and right in plain view for every one to see if they walk by. ALL THE IMAGES ARE OF SEX MODELS AND ARE PRONOGRAPHIC IN NATURE. .

That depends. It could be bad and good. I will say it's a great place to meet your old friends and talk with your current friends. I met my dad on myspace. (Long Story) So it can be a good thing. At the same time it can be a bad thing. My advice: Open your own account. Seriously. I know plenty of people ages 9-80 on myspace and make your son/daughter a friend that way you can check out their page and see what they are saying. Make it a condition of having a page.
Also have them keep their profile private. That way only their friends can see it and their are ways to only send requests if you know last names or emails.

If they are young they don't need a myspace page. They shouldn't be talking to anybody out of state anyway. All of their friends they see at school or in the neigborhood they live in. It's too many pedophiles on the internet for young kids to have a page on myspace and if they do I suggest you monitor all activity just in case they're chatting with someone they're not supposed to be chatting with.

Yes, MySpace is bad for kids. It is a stupid website to go onto anyway.

No ...ppl just dont know whats the use for it...Myspace is for staying in tocuh with your old current and new friends.....and Some ppl are dumb to message ppl back they dont even know!...they get there own self in trouble ...I think its good to put your profile on private if you think your ganna have a problem with "perverts" or w/e

I would never let my kids: Emma, James and Madison, I would not let them have a myspace, there are too many predators.

Not really! RIght now i listening to Bow Wow-Shorty Like Mine! I remember when on 106 and Park, he said that he had gotten the girls off Myspace. Just as long as you dont give out personnal information and just seeking friendship! Nothing wrong with it........it reminds me of PenPals!

It can be if they're dumb and don't have common sense when it comes to the internet. Also, you can set your myspace profile to be "private" so that only the people you add as friends can see any of your info.

Myspace isnt really bad but like ppl on myspace are not always trust worthy and like i mean there like alot of BAD PPL on there and ppl can like say bad things and junk like that....

Not if used properly. All kids' profiles are private until they reach 16, but that is only if they tell the truth about their age. I have a my space so that I can keep an eye on my kids' my space.
