i would definately say germany!!! not just because iwas born and raised there but because it has tons of historical stuff to see, along the rhine and mosel u have castles after castles. u can also go see the munich area, yet more castles but also part of ww II like the conzentrationcamps which u will never forget.
another reason is that germany is pretty much in the center and it makes it possible within just a few hrs to get to holland, belgium, england, france, austria....................
but greece is also nice, warm, good food, friendly ppl and a lot of history. depends on what you are going for i guess.

hope u have a great holiday

Northern Italy is spectacular, clean, and has wonderful people, sights, food, beverage......I've been twice and still haven't seen it all and can't wait to go again. You must go to Venice and from there head west to see places like the Dolomiti Mountains (Feltre is a great little city in the mountains), and Asiago, Verona, Castelfrano, Bassano del Grappa, Caorle......ooooooh there's a fabulous beach near the town of Caorle, super hot in summer. The region of Veneto is the most beautiful!!! Enjoy!!!

Try La Côte d'Azur (French Riviera). The food is great and the beaches are gorgeous. Also, the Gulf of Antalya in Turkey is great: not as expensive, but the people are very warm. Some of the best resorts in the world are there.

I'm thinking that Croatia is good choice. For example you can saty in Split and visit Dioklecian palace, beaches etc. Other day take ferry to Hvar or other islands or go to Dubrovnik, or Korcula.
In Split I was hire apartment for about 40 Euros. more info you can find here: www.splitapartments.com
