I'm doing a presentation with a group of my friends about the dangers of underage drinking to a bunch of sohpomores next Friday. We have a couple of ideas already, but does anyone know how to really capture attention, and get people to interact with you? Please help! Thanks!

the 2nd answer makes sense. i would also add: use humor, and include one or two skits. People remember or at least recall a joke or a magic moment acted out, long after they've forgotten a head-talk.

There are "rules" as how to present/lecture any topic.
I can't remember all but let me give you some personal advice:
1) Watch how you dress - make an appropriate impression
2) Stand without leaning on the podium or table. Best is to stand up and not sit down.
3) Always start your lecture/presentation with an anecdote or a funny story that relates to the subject you are going to talk about.
4) If you use statistics via a computer or a slide show make it short, with showing just the main subject and explain each category in words.

I am attaching some sites I found look at them:

Good luck.

You are presenting something you really like to let everyone know, by this your presentation will be lifely, you even do not need any paper for your presentation, it almost want to burst from your head. Good luck !!!
