x+4 is the answer!
If you have x^2 and you need to get x^3 then multiply by x, next remember to change the sign. You end up with -x^3 + 3x for the first round of multiplication. Next, you've got 4x^2-12 so multiply your x^2 -3 by 4 and then change signs, again. Everything cancels so your answer is x+4.

I hope this helps!
