SF has a lot of good date restaurants. The Waterfront on Embarcarderro is really nice. You can sit in the outdoor covered patio and have a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge. The food is delicious. Very pricey. Theres also Boulveard on Embarcarderro. The view isn't as great as the Waterfront, but the food is great. Very pricey. Down in Ghireldeli Square there's a modern Vietnamese restaurant called Anna Mandera. The interior is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It's multileveled with private sitting areas. There's a small indoor fountain that leads up to the bar where, a live band plays. Very pricey.

Many Bay Area restaurants are listed as participants on "www.opentable.com." From this site you can link to websites, reviews, ratings and even check availability and make a reservation. Trust me, I don't work for this site...I do however use it all of the time!

Go to SFgate.com (San Francisco Chronicle's web site) It'll give you anything you want to know about restaurants and so on in the Bay Area.

I go to Themenupages.com & type in SanFrancisco. There you
will get to choose the type of food you are interested in and also the area of the city. The list of establishments will appear and once you select one you will get its ratings, reviews & a printable
menu most of the time.

sfstation.com is good, but also check Yelp.com for restaurant reviews and the Talk section of yelp for things to do.
