i have had bad experiences with lesbians, im not sure if this is generally true of most lesbians, i havent met many of them....also, why do some lesbians hate gay men........im sorry if i sound ignorant, im probably wrong about lesbians, but there is something weird going on

They don't dislike them, they are just jealous of them. The gay guys look soooo much better in women's clothes than the lesbians do. And the gay guys can walk in heels.

No they don't. You're generalising yes but it's a fair generalisation. Women are generally more open to lesbians. Men and women are far different we can see that in every aspect of life. Lets take an example of homosexuality in school, this is more what would happen in my school. Lets say a girl comes out. She's a average girl, she'll be the talk of the school for a few days, there'll be a sprinkle of bitchiness a few "OMG what if she fancies me?"(from the ones that love themselves) and that'll probably be the end of it. In a more mature situation 10 years down the line I really don't see women holding big grudges (wacko christians aside). Lets take a boy now he comes out, the girls love him just as much probably more, because lets face it most girls like gay guys. All of a sudden the straight guys are threatened. This gay boy is threatening their masculinity. He's threatining them by having such good relationships with the girls (even though he's not sexually into them) and this angers the boys. Let me ask you a question. When was the last time you heard of a straight women attacking or killing a lesbian? Or have you ever? I haven't. question 2 When was the last time you heard about a straight man attacking or killing a gay man? Because I hear it all the time. 2 weeks ago a guy in my city was walking after his shift in a gay bar and had a rainbow braclet on. Asked by two men if he was gay, when he replied he was he was attacked and beaten up and lft. So finally the answer to you're question is no. Women generally don't care as much as men as they're more threatened. Generally. Please note I'm not saying this is all men, I'm talking about a % and that percentage is not 100.

I'm not a lesbian, so I can only guess. Most lesbians have had traumatic experiences with men in general. Maybe they were raped, or abused by their dads (Ellen Degeneres). They probably don't dislike gay men, perhaps they simply have bad feelings towards men in general.
Also, (again, I'm just guessing here) many gay men are rather feminine, and lesbians generally aren't. This could be a cause for some friction between the two groups, because some gays choose to be feminine, while some lesbians choose to be more masculine. The fact that one chose to be what another cannot stand could drive a rift between anyone.

No...I'd actually think that lesbians would dislike straight guys more. But I've been proven wrong by some. I've met lesbians who have guys friends. And of course there are straight women who hate men. I don't think orientation matters. Besides this, women have been proving lately that (lesbian) homosexuality isn't about disdain for the Y-chromosome. It's all about how you feel.

I love gay men and i'm not jealous of them at all. Why on earth would i be? I've had more experiences with gay men having attitude problems with me & all of my lesbian friends because they have the whole catty thing going on too! But the ones who arent on that B.S, i really enjoy being around.

Well being gay I have notice some don't know whether to shake your hand or **** you for seed. not all are like this but there is some really flaky ones here in Tulsa OK. I have been friends with a few and they fight more than any group of people I know. Very dramatic and over stupid stuff. Its like two women out of sync with hormones or something. I just don't get it. NOT ALL ARE LIKE THAT JUST HERE I THINK! If there are any friendly ones out there please prove me wrong! I know not to generalize.

I don't dislike gay guys, (or straight guys either) I have lots of gay guys as friends. maybe you just aren't hanging out with the right lesbians?

I've only had problems with one lesbian and she dated my ex wife so i think there was more to it than met the eye's. but I've gotten along great with every other one i met, including the girl my ex is dating now, she's great. i think i like her better than i like my ex. even though I'm gay and would never date her
