I'm trying to get an answer for a quiz from my sons school. The section is about guessing the name of karaoke classics from cryptic clues. The one I'm stuck on is 'Was George IV's wife sugary?'. I've been told the artist is George Hamilton IV so does anybody know which of his songs would be karaoke classics and obviously related to sugar somehow?
Thanks.

In reply to your question rebafan the quiz was sent out by the PTA to the parents and whoever wants really and you pay to enter. Also thanks for the discography link renovettegirl but I unfortunately still need to know which of his songs is a karaoke classic as he's made bloody hundreds of them!

In order for a song to be a "karaoke classic" it would have had to of been released on a karaoke disc at some time. George Hamilton IV has had only one song released on a karaoke disc. That song is "Abilene".

Let me call you sweetheart? Very old, not sure if it's classed as a karaoke classic though.
