I don't worship him but I do have a lot of respect for him. I actually have checked out what the man has actually said rather than the lies people have attributed to him. He has made some convincing points about the correlation between CO2 in the atmosphere and global temperatures. He is backed up by virtually all the respected scientists in the field. Al Gore has never said not to use electricity or drive a car. All these skeptics are foolish in not seeing the opportunities in developing and marketing clean alternatives. What am I doing? I am using clean electricity available through my local power company. I am being smart about my travel and commuting by combining trips, carpooling, using public transportation whenever possible or walking or riding a bicycle. My next car will be a hybrid. With gas between 2.50 and 3.00 that's the only smart thing to do. I also recycle, compost, grow a garden, and plant trees. The future belongs to innovative problem solvers not to backward thinking skeptics.

Recycling.
Why don't you Cons. try to do something to save this planet instead of sitting around mocking Al Gore. Or is the plight of this planet a big joke to you Cons?

I wish I could do more. This suburban lifestyle makes it awfully tough to conserve power.
