Is it true that you can be sued for over 100,000 dollars for using it? how do people get caught?

When you download illegal music it goes into a file that can be shared by other people. That is where they catch you. There are people searching for the music being offered. There have been settlements in the thousands of dollars to keep it out of court.

they will be fined $500-$1000 and will go to jail for a minimum of 30 days(if you get caught) I use it and I havnt gotten caught yet!

as long as you don't share music i don't think you will get in to trouble, but it also depends on what country you are living in.
