I'm german, so I'm used to it being legal. There never have been any problems with it being legal, either, and yes I think alcohol is worse than marijuana. I think if the government could find a way to make money off of it, it will be legal in the states as well.

only for medical reasons. I think then as said before, people would go overboard and abuse it. yes, people do abuse alcohol, nicotine and really, should caffiene be placed in the same category as the rest? Yes I know it's been proven that marijuana is not as hard on the human body. Really, caffeine? Do you think it has the same affects on the body as marijuana or alcohol? No, it doesn't alter your brain like drugs or alcohol. You can still drive, work, and all while drinking a can of soda and not worry about getting into an accident because it impairs you.

I don't think what it does to your body is the issue. Its how the people react on it. You don't drive onto oncomming cars when you are drinking nicotine. Alcoholics don't drink when working because of the smell. However they do drive into on comming traffic. So the problem is with our social system and what we preceive to be right and not right. Having someone stoned all the time on company time would be bad unless they are at a desk job. I have never heard a study that said it wasn't as bad as those items you mentioned. I can't think of a non smoker who likes caffine changing to smoking could be better. I have a problem with that statement. By the way you are cute. Think I have seen you out in dallas or Tulsa not sure. Any way that was my opinion on both.

I don't care for the stuff but I think it should be legalized. If it were it wouldn't be such a big deal. When there is something people can't have they want it more! As for it's effect on the human body it is actually proven that smoking one joint is equal to that of seven cigarettes, so in terms of cancer that could be pretty damaging!

Legalize. It isn't going to change much of anything.
People that smoke will still smoke. Some people who smoke cigarettes will probably convert to cigga-weed and most cigarette manufacturers would most likely make a marijuana cigarette a new addition to their product line.
The thing is, when it starts being "manufactured", it will become unhealthy as tobacco did when it started being "manufactured". Chemicals will almost definately be added to promote an addiction.
With that said, it may be safer to just keep it illegal. However, if restrictions were placed on the production of it to restrict any unnatural additions to the herb, it would be much healthier than smoking tobacco cigarettes.

I think all drugs should be legalized. Why do I care what people do with their own lives! Alcohol is legal and people still drink and drive and kill people so why not get something out of it with legalizing drugs. Tax it and the rest of us poor working schleps paying our outrageous taxes on money that doesn't even help pay to live. Maybe there would be no more poor or working poor in this country then. + people wouldn't get killed for drugs. And people wouldn't get rich selling this crap. We would!

Well, personally I don't use it. My boyfriend does and so do many of my friends. Whether or not it is legalized people are gonna use it. I think they should but regulate it like nicotine and alcohol...not like that's gonna make a difference any ways, people are still gonna get it no matter what!

I totally agree with you. Alcohol is so much worse for you, it can make you agressive and depressed. People don't go overboard with it when it's legal. Even if they do, they just end up throwing up! I've been to Amsterdam twice where it's legal and it's working out for them.

Mari gets in the synapses of your brain and mimics the action of neurotransmitters. Once it's there, you'll never completely clean it out. Wreaks havoc on the sex drive in men, particularly. I only support legalization of highly addictive drugs. (so it can be dealt with as a medical issue)

It should be. There could be a better use of government resources. Billions are wasted on enforcing laws that protect people from themselves. I want rapists and muggers off the street. I don't give a **** about my neighbor smoking a blunt.
