Do you think that me being a Sophmore hanging out with a 7th grader is lame, he is cool to hang with.

No, not at all.
You might be best friends with someone 3 years older than you, so if hes three years younder, what's the difference?
In fact, he probably looks up to you, you might be a role model to him.

No! Now it may seem lame because someone is teasing you, but if you think he is cool to hang out with then there is not problem... and when you are older you will still have that friend and the age difference really won't matter! In the bigger picture what's more important is the friendship not the age. Have fun!

i know what its like to be a teenager, and i know youre worried about what everyone will think, but you gotta do what makes you happy. if you like hanging out with him, then do it. and think about how the 7th grader would feel if you just ignore him because youre scared people will think youre lame. his feelings would be hurt, the kid probably looks up to you and thats why he hangs out with you. how would you feel if someone you looked up to stopped hanging out with you because you were 3 years younger and people thought it was lame? dont worry so much about what everyone else thinks and do what makes you happy

No, it isn't lame. I'm fifteen, and most of my friends are more than at least a year younger or older than me. Younger friends teach you how to relax and have more fun in life, and older friends can teach you things about relationships, jobs, and stuff like that. It's great to have friends of all ages.

But just be warned that sometimes when you're friends with someone more than a yer or two younger than you, sometimes their mom might act like you're going to bully him or attack him just because you're older than him. So act really gentlemen-like around his parents and older siblings so they know you're not a child predator and you're just after his friendship.
