I'm sure this is going to sound stupid to you, but I want to know just how many people actually believe that dinosaurs existed.
P.S. Please make your answer simple, I don't need to be told how stupid this question is.

I don't see how anyone couldn't believe dinosaurs that once roamed the earth. Even most young-earth creationists acknowledge that dinosaurs existed, they just happen to think dinosaurs were on earth with humans and that didn't get tickets for the Ark.
The only thing about dinosaurs that's in doubt are theories about the nature of dinosaurs like could a t-rex swim or did dinosaurs care for their offspring? There's always the possibility that some new discovery will change what we know about dinosaurs. But there's no doubt that these huge animals once lived on earth.

The debate is over, we have the fossils.
The dinosaur historical timeline suggests an imperfect God who came up with the idea of man as an afterthought, thus demoting the biblical idea that God created man in His own image. Dinosaurs are not mentioned in the Bible, which is why the debate continues, in spite of the overwhelming evidence.

I believe in dinosaurs because there is proof in the form of fossils. I am on the fence about the Bible. How can you prove that it is the actual word of God? Because someone said so? That's hardly proof.
Faith is important, but remember that faith is not Proof.

Yes, I believe dinosaurs existed. But this is more of an "I believe there is a city called Buenos Aires in Argentina" sort of belief than an "I believe in Santa Claus" sort of belief.

since dinosaur simply means terrible lizard, and the fossil record speaks for itself, to not believe it would be akin to believing the moon landing a giant conspiracy, the better question would be, why would one not believe in dinosaurs?
