its simple watch:

add 3
x+3=5/y

divide by 5

x+3/5= 1 /y

flip both sides (raise them to the -1 power)

5/(x+3) = y

First, multiply both sides by (y-3)

then
x * (y-3) = 5

then divide both sides by x

then
y-3 = 5/x
finally, add three to both sides
y = (5/x) + 3

x = 5/y-3

1/x = y-3/5

y-3/5 = 1/x

y-3 = 5/x

y = (5/x) + 3

y = (5 + 3x)/x

x(y-3)=5

xy -3x=5

xy=5+3x
