My mother did fortune telling in romania to make a living. I asked her the same question. She said either the lady was a fake or she felt that your friend hearing the impending news of what would happen in her life would be to devastating to hear and not believe her.

That happened to me once. The fortune teller actually asked me why I was there. He said that I had no reason to be there. People normally come here because they have problems with work or love life and you don't have either. There is nothing that I can tell you. Maybe that is what the fortune teller meant with your friend. I would take it as a good sign!

I don't know why...I can only speculate. If the psychic is a real one, the they didn't like the vibes coming off your friend, and didn't want to get involved...

If this is one of the fraud psychics, which there really are *alot* of out there, they might have smelt cop, and decided to play it safe, or the fortune teller could be setting her up for a bigger con...If the fortune teller gets in touch with her, tells her things are bad, and she can help...for a fee of course, then you know what is going on, it's just a con job.

The only reason I can think of, unless she is a fraud (which she obviously isn't or she would have taken the $ and made something up), is that she saw your friends death. Fortune tellers don't usually want to tell a client details about how they are going to die. It's not "ethical" so to speak. Maybe the fortune teller picked up details about your friends death, and the easiest way to "not" say anything about it was simple to say nothing at all.

Because the psychic couldn't get to the web and search your friend's web page for info. So she couldn't tell her some fake stuff ...Wait a min a fortune teller not ripping off someone ?? Your lying..that or your friend has no future...go to a different psychic .

Well she was probably not in the mood, or ready to trick her. Fortune tellers tell such general things that could apply to many things in the future that will happen, and when they happen people to those people they go nuts thinking that it was predicted.

Because the fortune teller realized she is a fraud and she the errors of her ways and has stopped robbing people. this is all nonsense. you will get a lot of answers saying your friend has no future and is going to die and that tellers can't tell you anything bad so they refuse your money. This all rubbish, no one can predict the future it is all nonsense

This is usually when the person will die in a freak accident and the fortune teller doesn't want to break the bad news.

Dear milopoo2,

I do believe there are real psychics and there are fake ones. Have you and your friend thought about going to another psychic and see if a reading can be made? Even with Medical Doctors, many seek second and third opinions.
I have a friend who knows of mediums that go to people's private homes and have medium groups. She is going to have a medium party soon, I can't wait to go! I am skeptic, as we all should be, but I am going for fun and hey, who knows??!!
I hope that with all these answers everyone is sharing that you have peace and please don't conclude that your friend will have a tragedy. Get a second or third reading if it helps ease your worries and have some fun with it. PEACE to you and your friend =]
