I heard thru the grapevine that Matt Groening was bringing back "Futurama". Can anyone confirm this? I "heard" that Adult Swim ordered 13 new episodes, but will it be the same cast? Katey Sagal, Billy West, Phil Lamar? Does anyone else out there LOVE this show? Z-Z-Z-Z-Zoidberg.........

On April 26, 2006, the parody newspaper The Onion's real-life entertainment section, "The A.V. Club", published an interview with Futurama co-creator Matt Groening, in which he discussed plans to create four straight-to-DVD movies. Groening noted that co-creator David X. Cohen and numerous writers from the original series would be returning to work on the movies.[10]
On June 22, 2006, Comedy Central announced that at least 13 new episodes were to be produced, to air with the reruns in 2008. Comedy Central also confirmed that Billy West, Katey Sagal, and John DiMaggio would return for the new episodes, with a 2008 debut planned;[2] however, an unofficial fan site reports that the new Comedy Central episodes would consist of the straight-to-DVD movies, each split into 4 episodes (making 16 new episodes) rather than additional new material

It's possible. I can't see why Matt Groening would have stopped the show, considering Simpsons "ended" almost two or three years ago but there's still new episodes being aired.

It is coming back in 2008, but it will not be on Adult Swim....Comedy Central bought it....and it will be the same cast....

Yes I do ! Bender is the greatest ! If they start making new shows it will be a vast improvement to the TV waistelands. http://www.[adult swim] should have the answers.

I LOVE THAT SHOW!!! I have to watch it, if i miss it i cant sleep,i wish it would play on fridays on A.S. i hope that they will revive it !
